The current Catalogue of Life

The Catalogue of Life is the world's checklist of species, assembled each month by more than 160 specialist databases, from FishBase and the Mammal Diversity Database to World Flora Online and Species Fungorum. Its latest edition names 2,276,639 accepted living species. Every one has a page here, including those described too recently to appear anywhere else in the library.
